About the event

Gliding Stars of Central Florida is scheduling a 4-session adaptive hockey training mini-camp for persons with disabilities. Our instructors, Rey Betancourt and Matt Burkhead, will provide an introduction-to-hockey program. Each session will last 45 minutes on-ice at the Orlando Ice Den. Hockey equipment (helmets, gloves, sticks and skates) will be provided to each participant.


The mini-camp's beginning session will begin on Sunday, March 30, 2025, beginning with a fitting of equipment at 3:15 p.m. and on-ice instruction starting at 4 p.m. The three additional sessions will on April 13, April 27, and May 4, with each session beginning at 4:00 p.m. on each Sunday session. Each instruction session lasts 45 minutes.


The fee for participation in the mini camp is $160.00 per participant. Participants must be pre-registered and paid - see the Refund Policy when purchasing tickets for more information (or contact glidingstarsofcentralflorida@gmail.com)
