Gliding Stars of Central Florida is scheduling an 8-session adaptive hockey training mini-camp for persons with disabilities. Our instructors, Rey Betancourt and Matt Burkhead, will provide an introduction-to-hockey program. Each session will last 45 minutes on-ice at the Orlando Ice Den. Hockey equipment (helmets, gloves, sticks and skates) will be provided to each participant.

The mini-camp's next beginning session is now scheduled to begin in the Spring of 2027 (exact dates TBD), on Sundays, first with a 1:30pm-3:30 p.m. equipment fitting. Skills instruction beings the week following the equipment fitting session, with each session beginning at 4:00 p.m. Athletes expected to arrive around 3:15pm for equipment dressing in advance of on ice instruction.
