Week by week, confidence is building and skills are coming together on the ice for our Shooting Stars athletes. This session focused on teamwork, speed, and puck control — and the energy was incredible from start to finish.
Athletes worked on passing to teammates, skating with control around obstacles, and finishing strong with shots on net. Small group drills encouraged communication and trust while our 3 vs. 3 Blue Team vs. Green Team mini game brought out teamwork, determination, and lots of smiles.
At the “Pucks In Net” station, athletes raced to move pucks into the goal as quickly as possible, learning how working together creates success faster than working alone. The final station challenged athletes to maintain control while weaving around tires, sprinting, turning quickly, and finishing with a shot on goal.
Every practice continues to show growth — not just in hockey skills, but in confidence, friendships, focus, and perseverance. The ice is becoming more than a place to practice hockey; it’s becoming a place where athletes feel empowered, connected, and proud of what they can achieve together.
